Karma

I am back from the dead...a little bit older...a little bit wiser and now I bring you my take on Lost last night: totally fucking rad!

Desmond, YOU are my Constant!

Desmond has always been my favorite Lost character. Hes kinda of an underdog and I always thought his backstory was really important...and now I know its true! Now if you will excuse me I have to go watch Mythbuster re-runs...nar.

What else? Well the Mad Decent blog came through with this gem:

Elephant Man-Kalm Dem Down

Here is a drawing I did while at work. It represents my feelings towards disco.

I am having a contest for the person who emails me a list of all the items they see on the ground. The winner receives a xeroxed copy of Disco Sux

Readin' Rainbow

Fuck Football! Its the Superbowl of Eatin!

My Brother sent me this book that he was all excited about. It arrived today and I decided to do a bit of "pre-reading." Lets see what I can learn...

used copy

hobos ?

Thanks for the book good lookin out on the literary tip!!

Okay I was looking around at all these old books that I used to pour over when my smarmy was in its infancy and came across this crusty old gem:

This book was published in...1947...It is written in French(rough translation...Globi-Dont leave him alone with your kids!), the left side of each page is frenchy style text but I am just sticking with the awesomely simple drawings. Next time you child asks you where does Globi come from you got it covered...here goes...

One day some little kids where looking for dinner...but they were dumb so they fell in the water.

Their little dog decided that the local crazy man was the best person to ask for help

he does have a boat..but..hey wait a minute that water isnt even that deep!

What the!? this is getting weird...what's in that pipe old man?

Hey kids seriously I am speaking from experience...dont go rummaging through old mens chests...

Get out of there Kids!!! What kind of old man keeps a feather in a box?

a feathery message from beyond the Grave!

No! its Globi!

I take back everything I said about this guy...he is my hero

I am hideous!!

"Hey I am a drawing that came to life after your magic feather came out of a box and drew me...what shall we do? Lets eat some cheese...now give me a hat!"

Is there anything this guy doesnt have in his chests?

The rest of the book are one page strips that give one more insight into the mind of

Globi...The Checker-Pant'd Parrot-Man!!

He is a fashionista

He is not a fraid to ask the swamy for help

He loves his bicycle

He is like a chocoholic but for alcohol

I also came across this book of Egytianbedtime stories:

No sleep for You

Thanks Mom!

Weird Weekend

I stayed in last night and watched hours and hours of "Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends" a BBC show hosted by Paul Theroux's son. Who's Paul Theroux? He wrote"The Mosquito Coast."

Louis travels to the United States(he's from Limeyville) and spends time with "wierd" sub-cultures that bubble below the mainstream. One episode he spends time with a group of swingers in LA, in another episode he goes to Idaho to meet some hard-core,right-wing survivalists who live in the ground.

His response to them: "oh! you live in a hobbit hole!"

You can check out all his episodes here .
